What Is Meditation?

It is a process for stilling the mind, releasing mental and emotional conditioning, increasing the vitality of the body and connecting to a universal consciousness. A variety of techniques may be used including: special postures; stillness; mental focusing on a word, sound, or the present moment; movement, dance and/or spinning; controlled or non-controlled breathing.
